Spotlight on Morten Skeie

Tell us about Morten

My name is Morten Skeie, and I’m originally from southern Norway, in a small town called Eiken. I live there with my partner, Aud Åshild, and our three children. When I’m not working, I spend my time with my family. We all enjoy outdoor activities, whether it’s hiking, skiing, boating, or riding ATVs and snowmobiles. In addition to outdoor pursuits, I enjoy spending time in my garage, where I service, restore, and tweak my personal motor vehicles.

Why did you join Stepwise?

I have always been interested in new technology, and when the opportunity to join Stepwise arose, I couldn’t say no. I have a background in servicing and overhauling drilling equipment, which also involves extending the equipment’s lifespan and reducing emissions. Emissions planning and tracking is a big step forward for the industry, and being part of developing the best tool for this task is something I find truly exciting.

What’s your focus in Stepwise?

My focus at Stepwise is to share my experience where it’s most useful and to ensure that our customers receive the best data and feedback available.
